The scale, flow, style, views and access were all individualy carefully considered in order to take the tenant out of Sheffield and back into their comfort environmnet. For example, the cottage apartment had a quieter and more hidden entry compared to one focused on the city with one which was more connected to the busier main street and with more footfall. Similarly, small details were also looked into: such as creating a bespoke storage/ sleep platform for the apartment ‘in the mountains’ where storage trapdoors could only be opened using specific climbers grips.
